BIM Standards

Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a process of planning and collaboration for construction projects that is facilitated by modern digital technology on a common data environment (CDE) that provides integrations with other systems like geographic information systems (GIS) and enterprise asset management (EAM) systems.

Project teams can take advantage of cloud computing to access and process remote sensing data (lidar, photogrammetry, ortho photography), create and coordinate information models, produce drawings with centralized comments/markups, and integrate with GIS in a collaborative team environment.
