Committee Scope:

To review, discuss, and vote on the Executive’s proposed Seattle Transportation Benefit District renewal legislation, for placement on the November 2026 General Election ballot. This new proposed measure would replace the expiring 2020 Seattle Transportation Benefit District (Ordinance 126115), also known as the Seattle Transit Measure.

Meeting Dates

The Select Committee will meet at City Hall, Council Chambers, unless noted otherwise. The established meeting dates and times are listed below and additional meetings will be scheduled as needed.

  • Thursday, June 4 - 9:30 a.m.
  • Thursday, June 18 - 9:30 a.m.
  • Monday, July 6 - 2 p.m.
  • Monday, July 13 (Public Hearing) - 9:30 a.m.
  • Thursday, July 16 - 9:30 a.m.
