What's Happening Now?
The updated Northgate Regional Center Plan has begun the transmittal process for Council consideration. The plan will be reviewed as part of a package of Subarea Plans at an upcoming Land Use Committee meeting (meeting date coming soon).
The Northgate Regional Center Plan articulates place-specific policies and actions to ensure that the Northgate Regional Center can successfully accommodate future growth and become more equitable, vibrant, and resilient. The plan will be used as a guiding document for how to achieve desired outcomes outlined by the community and supporting policy documents such as Seattle's Comprehensive Plan and the Puget Sound Regional Council’s Regional Centers Framework.
