This project is complete.
This community center renovation added 4,150 square feet to the existing community center. New spaces include a multipurpose room, commercial kitchen, activity room, break-out space, elevator, kiln room, new lobby and a fireplace room.
Work began in April 2006, and progressed according to schedule throughout the summer.
However, a concrete drivers' strike, followed by record rains and severe weather in fall and early winter extended the project schedule by several months.
A summary of the public process is now available.
