Homeowners

Existing low-income homeowners in Seattle have a variety of resources available to help them stay in their homes and ensure that their houses are safe, healthy and efficient. Through the Foreclosure Prevention Program, we help struggling homeowners avoid being displaced. Through our Home Repair Loan Program we help homeowners make critical health and safety improvements to their homes. And through our HomeWise Weatherization Program, we help reduce costs and save energy by making free energy efficiency improvements. If you are a low-income and looking to buy your first home, you may qualify for our Homeownership Assistance Program, too. Finally, homeowners may qualify for tax exemptions through King County.
