What is SPD 20/20?

SPD 20/20: A Vision for the Future was announced on March 29th by Mayor Mike McGinn, Police Chief John Diaz and Assistant Chief of Operations Mike Sanford. The plan is a comprehensive package of new reform initiatives for the Seattle Police Department, with the goal of supporting a just and effective police force. The SPD 20/20 team is made up of over 30 SPD department leaders who will oversee the implementation of 20 new reform initiatives over the next 20 months.
