The commission meets the second Tuesday of every month from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.

If you would like to attend a meeting, sign-up for public comment, and/or require an interpreter, please contact Beleqsa Tamaami at beleqsa.tamaami@seattle.gov.

We can only guarantee interpretation services if the request is made at least 5 days in advance of the meeting. All other requests will be accepted up to 48 hours prior to each meeting.

Immigrant and Refugee Commission Meetings

The Immigrant and Refugee Commission was created as a result of Seattle's Immigrant and Refugee Report and Action Plan released in 2007. With the unprecedented growth in the foreign-born population since the 1980s, Seattle has become an increasingly multi-cultural city, rich with diversity.
