The Community Police Commission, City Council, and Mayor's Office are searching for new commissioners to join the CPC to engage communities and provide input to achieve meaningful police reforms! In 2017, the City made the CPC permanent and expanded the number of commissioners from 15 to 21.

The CPC's mission is so listen to, amplify, and build common ground among communities affected by policing it Seattle. It champions policing practices centered in justice and equity. We strive to recruit individuals from communities that are most affected by policing, and those who have a desire to integrate police practices with your community's values. Please visit this link to find out more about commissioner responsibilities and the application process, including selection criteria.
