Youth Appreciation Week: Main Event:
This years youth appreciation week kicked off to an incredible event at the Seattle Center. Our life sized version of The Sims proved to be a learning experience for countless teens this spring break.

Heart of the Matter (4/28/2011):
As part of the Northwest African American Museum's Checking Our Pulse exhibit, 10 teens worked with NAAM , Garfield RecTech and a 911 Media Arts instructor this winter to produce a public service announcement on heart health. Upon learning that cardiovascular diseases are the leading cause of death for African Americans, the youth combined their talents for 12 weeks to create, film and edit a piece that informs others of this staggering statistic and ways to stay healthy.

MLK March: His Dream was for Me (1/15/2011):
Some 200 teens joined together for a march and day of reflection. From MLK park to Garfield CC, what a great day of remembrance

Top Teen Chef: Northgate (12/7/10):
