Picnic Shelter and Table Reservations

We are now accepting applications on a first come, first serve application basis.

Please read these five things first:

1. Phone calls will have a delayed response. Please submit your application online for faster response 

2. Submit applications as far in advance as possible

3. Processing your application takes at least 8-10 business days

4. When applying, use all 6 space options on the application. This creates the best chance of securing a picnic site.

5. We have applications in seven new languages including: Spanish, Vietnamese, Filipino, Chinese, Korean, Amharic and Somali, see applications below.

Quick Facts

• Alcohol is prohibited in City parks, including all picnic areas.
• Electricity and Water are NOT provided for picnic reservations. 
• Amplified sound is NOT permitted in City of Seattle Parks.
• Parks that are not listed are first-come, first-serve. You are welcome to enjoy picnics at any Seattle park.
• Important Note: events with bounce houses, canopies and/or catering can only be scheduled at one of our listed picnic parks and must obtain a permit and insurance. 

Half Day or Full Day Options

• AM Half Day 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. *
• PM Half Day 3:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. *
• Whole Day 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.

* For half day pricing please refer the Picnic Brochure. All fees listed in the table below are for an all day shelter rental and do not include the additional cost of tables ($25 all day) that you may be required to rent, depending on your party size.
