Project Status

Thank you Seattle! This project is complete.

The construction fencing was taken down on December 3, 2009. The project features a paleontology theme in harmony with the Brighton Science Park. Children can excavate dinosaur bones in the sandbox and hunt fossils depicted throughout the site.

A-1 Landscaping began site work for this play area renovation on August 17, 2009.

Project Description

This project will provide for replacement of play equipment, access improvements and other work at this existing play area. The scope of this project brings the play area into compliance with current play area safety standards and guideline efforts of the American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM) and the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) as well as meets the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
