Upcoming Events
Ballard Pool will be closed on Monday, September 4th due to the holiday. We look forward to seeing you beginning with our Early Morning Lap Swim program on Tuesday from 5:45-7am.
Fall is right around the corner! Here are program changes for Ballard Pool:
- Early Morning Lap Swim time change: New time is 5:45 - 7am! Admission to EMLS is by QuickCard, exact change or check only.
- Saturday Public Swim: Ballard is adding back this Saturday afternoon gem! Join us from 12:30-1:30pm!
- Water Polo and Synchronized Swimming Lessons: Expand your aquatic reportoire with these fun aquatic sports! Beginning Water Polo lessons will be offered on Wednesdays at 5:15pm. Synchronized swimming lessons will be offered on Monday nights at 6pm. For more information or to register, call 206-684-4094
- COMING SOON!! Saturday afternoon lessons from 1:30-3pm!! More information to come!
Time to start thinking about Fall group swimming lessons! Mark your calendars for Tuesday, August 8th beginning at noon! You can sign up three ways:
- Online via SPARC
- In person at any City of Seattle community center or pool
- Over the phone by calling Ballard Pool at 206-684-4094 or the Business Service Center at 206-684-5177
If you are interested in Fall personal lesson registration, this begins on site at Ballard Pool on Thursday, August 10th. For current participants, registration begins at 6pm. For new participants, registration begins at approximately 6:30pm.
Sign up for SUMMER CAMPS!! Ballard Pool is offering the following camps for the month of August from 3-4pm, Monday- Friday:
- Junior Lifeguarding: August 7 - 18; Cost: $112.50 (Ages 9-15; swimming level 5 required)
- High School Pre-Comp: August 14 - 18; Cost: $56.25 (please note this is for teens only; drop-ins allowed)
- Water Polo: August 21 - September 1; Cost: $112.50 (swimming level 5 required)
- Synchronized Swimming: August 21 - September 1; Cost: $112.50 (swimming level 5 required)

Terrific Tuesdays
Public swim from 7:30 - 8:30 p.m. (6/27 - 8/29). Bring the family for a special themed public swim each week! Some weeks will have prizes, snacks, or reduced admission fees, but ALL will include lots of healthy, family fun! Here are the Terrific Tuesday themes
- Aug 15: Have a Ball: Cannonball contest with guest judges
- Aug 22: Jungle Adventure: $2 Entry, rope swing contest
- Aug 29: Back to School Beach Bash! Free Entry
