About

The Discovery Park Visitor Center is happy to announce we will be open until October 2022, when extensive ADA construction will close the facility. Our current open hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 8:30am - 5pm. During this time, staff are onsite and available to issue Beach Parking Passes, answer questions about the park, register you for upcoming programs and provide a West Point Lighthouse stamp for your Lighthouse Passport.

Restrooms are available for the public inside the Discovery Park Visitor Center during regular open hours. Restrooms behind the Visitor Center are used exclusively for Summer Day Camp programs.

Discovery Park Environmental Learning & Visitor Center hosts environmental education programming, including school field trips, throughout the year. These programs are hands-on experiences employing games, props, and activities to enhance the learning adventure. They are developed to give people a positive experience outdoors and a sense of community and connection with our green spaces. Every quarter, new programs are offered based upon the seasons and the interests of the public. Pre-registration is required for all programs so please peruse the offerings on the right to find something that interests you and register today!
