All Office of Housing programs use the Seattle Housing Authority (SHA) utility allowances when determining maximum rent levels (see income rent limits.)

The utility allowances are shown at Seattle Housing Authority's website. Scroll down to the "Utility allowance worksheets by bedroom size” link to find allowances by unit type and by number of bedrooms.

NOTE:
The Seattle Housing Authority recently updated its utility estimate schedule. For the purposes of the Multifamily Tax Exmption program, the revised rates will go into effect on January 1, 2013 for all new tenancies. For existing tenancies, the updated utility allowances must be incorporated at the time of lease renewal, effective the first day of the new lease term.
