About The P-Patch
Howell Collective P-Patch
(submitted by a Howell Collective P-Patch community gardener)
The Capitol Hill community has a different style of community garden with the Howell Collective P-Patch: A "collective" that does not have individual plots. The whole garden (not just the common areas) were and are designed, planted, maintained, and harvested together by P-Patchers. Like all P-Patch Community Gardens, the Howell Collective P-Patch works to support the feasibility of urban agriculture and food sovereignty, increase public green space, and bring neighbors together in nature.
If you are interested in designing, building, or gardening in this P-Patch or another P-Patch, find out more about the P-Patch sign-up process here. To sign up as a P-Patch participant, call 206-684-0264, email email@example.com, or sign up online.
