New Holly Rockery Community Garden and Market Garden
Market gardens are spaces where food is grown to sell onsite or offsite at a store, stand, farmers market, or restaurants. The NewHolly Market Garden is located in the NewHolly neighborhood on Seattle Housing Authority (SHA) property. The gardeners work communally and sell their organic produce through a farm stand. The P-Patch staff work with the gardeners to develop and manage the gardens, along with selling and marketing the produce.

The NewHolly farm stands are open during the summer and anyone is welcome to purchase fresh organic produce and meet the farmers. The farm stands accept EBT and Fresh Bucks.

Garden History
The NewHolly garden was originally located in Lower Holly Park and was relocated to NewHolly in 2002 as part of a federal housing project redevelopment grant. Most gardeners are from Southeast Asia and live in NewHolly low-income housing. P-Patch gardener Ngeth Ton helped build the garden, bamboo fences, storage shed, green house, and garden art.
