On Friday, June 5, King County received approval from the State Department of Health to move into a Phase 2 Restart for ALL private construction activities that are low-risk and adhere to strict COVID 19 Job site Requirements. The City of Seattle has issued requirements for construction projects seeking inspections. SDCI customer service areas remain closed and continues with the service changes.
Until King County moves to Phase 4 of the Governor’s “Safe Start” reopening plan, the Seattle Department of Construction and Inspections is hosting virtual Design Review Board meetings. We will host these meetings using WebEx as the meeting platform. For more information about these virtual meetings, and instructions for how to provide public comment, please visit the Design Review Virtual Board Meetings webpage.
The Design Review Board reviews projects at public meetings at least twice – at an Early Design Guidance phase and a Recommendation phase.
Each board is scheduled to meet twice a month and hold quarterly training sessions per our annual calendar. These dates are subject to change as meetings may be canceled or additional dates added. Meeting details are below.
