Apply to the Seattle Urban Forestry Commission

Applications are accepted on a continual basis and notices are posted here when interviews are conducted, which occurs when there are vacancies.

Appointments are for three years and not compensated. Commissioners will have knowledge in the areas specific to the position for which they are applying, and a willingness to devote approximately 10 hours a month to UFC meetings and other Commission duties.

Applicants must reside or work within the City of Seattle. UFC meetings take place the first and third Wednesday of each month from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and include both remote and in-person participation options. The details can be found in the Meeting Documents section of this website.
