Thank you, Seattle. This Pro Parks Levy project is now complete and in full operation.

Special thanks to the immediate community for their patience and ongoing communication during the construction of this trail project.

LOCATION	Cheasty Boulevard is part of the Olmsted Boulevard system. It runs between Beacon Ave. S. and Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
BUDGET	The Pro Parks Levy provides $1,000,000 project costs of planning, design and construction.
SCHEDULE	Planning: 2001 Design: 2002 - 2004 Construction: Summer 2004 - Winter 2005 Completion: Winter 2005

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This project constructed improvements to Cheasty Boulevard including pedestrian pathway, drainage, landscaping, and other amenities. Parks and Recreation established a Project Advisory Team representing the community and stakeholders. J. A. Brennan Associates provided landscape architectural services to produce a boulevard plan that will guide future improvements.

COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION

The Cheasty Boulevard Improvement Project, Project Advisory Team provides ongoing input into the project. Its membership is confirmed by Parks Superintendent Ken Bounds. Its membership consists of the following community and agency representatives.
