This project is complete!
The improvements were funded by the 2000 Pro Parks Levy and contributions
from development neighbors, including Vulcan Inc., PEMCO Insurance and Harbor
Properties.
The central components of the improvement plan include new play areas, regraded
access from Harrison St. and Minor Ave., a central plaza, improved irrigation
for the playfield, and renovation of the parking area.

Implement elements of Cascade Playground Site Plan including children's
play area, paths and landscaping.

| The pro-parks project at Cascade was recently featured
at the public open house for the Eco-Renovation of the Cascade People's
Center. |
As passersby journeyed through forums highlighting
concepts of ecological building techniques passports were stamped
and their knowledge was enhanced. |
