Project Information

Project Status

Summer 2015
Seattle Parks and Recreation anticipates substantial completion by school opening. Parks re-bid this project after all public bids came in over the project budget amount and awarded the contract to WS Contractors LLC.

On the advice of the geotechnical engineers and landscape architects summer construction is essential because part of the project is construction near existing wetlands.

This project lays the foundation for the play area and includes new curbing, sidewalk, wetland ponds, logs and boulders. The PTSA will work, after the framework construction is complete, to install play equipment and do additional landscaping.
