Project Status

Spring 2015
Seattle Parks and Recreation re-bid this project after all public bids came in over the project budget amount. The new bids will be open on April 1, 2015 and the City will work to award the contract by the end of the month. The new bid will not include the concrete overlay and pathway.

With successful awarding of the contract we anticipate construction while school is out during the summer. On the advice of the geotechnical engineers and landscape architects summer construction is essential because part of the project is construction near existing wetlands.

The PTSA will work after the framework construction is complete to install play equipment and do additional landscaping.
