Parks had an updated appraisal on this site done in summer 2012 and made another offer to the owner of the property. We are currently waiting for a response to the offer.

The Opportunity Fund allocates $520,000 for the acquisition for this project.
SCHEDULE

Project Description

The vision of Sustainable Puget Ridge is to acquire a site to create an urban community farm which is a neighborhood meeting place, a community food garden and a test site for environmentally conscientious sustainability.

This project was selected for the first round of Parks and Green Spaces Levy Opportunity Funding. The application receivedYou will need adobe acrobat reader to view this document. in this community-initiated process is a preliminary concept and the final design may be constrained by the project budget. All projects will go through Park’s public involvement procedure which includes public meetings and community input. They will also go through an internal Parks process to ensure the most effective implementation.
