Jefferson Park Golf Course Facility Renovations
Location: 4101 Beacon Ave S, Seattle WA 98108
We are excited to announce the construction of Jefferson Park's new golf course clubhouse is set to begin in mid November!
The long awaited project will feature a new clubhouse with a double decked covered and heated driving range, an enlarged and improved food & beverage operations with indoor and outdoor facilities, banquet and meeting rooms, enlarged pro shop with club repair, new teaching facilities and new putting greens.
During the construction period golf operations will move to temporary facilities across Beacon Ave. behind the existing first tee. A pro shop and a food service facility will be set up in order to continue to offer as many services and amenities possible. There will be no impact upon the 18-hole course which will remain open throughout construction. Efforts are being made to keep partial use of the driving range available to golfers during construction. However, logistical issues must be overcome before a firm decision can be made.
The new clubhouse will provide a improvement to municipal golf services and a wonderful community space to non-golfing patrons as well.

Parks staff briefed the Golf Steering Committee (GSC) on Nov 10, on the preferred schematic design and reductions in the project scope so as to stay within the project’s budget. The revised scope includes the following elements:
- Clubhouse – Two-story with banquet hall, café and outdoor dining, Pro-shop, teaching space
- Double-deck Driving Range – improved lights and netting
- Modified cart barn – capacity for 40 gas carts, with the potential for future expansion and/or conversion to electric carts
- Modified cart paths – limited to surrounding the cart barn, Beacon Ave, 1st Tee and 18th Hole, additional path paving as an Add Alternate
- Modified parking plan –
The GSC approved the revised project scope.
- Increase parking behind the clubhouse to 20 stalls
- Reduce the parking on the short nine by half, with the remaining parking as an Add Alternate
