Special Announcements

Map for Cascade People CenterSeattle Parks and Recreation's long-term partnership with the YMCA of Greater Seattle was approved by the Seattle City Council on April 5, 2012 and Ordinance #123866 was signed by the Mayor in April 12, 2012.

YMCA of Greater Seattle will manage and operate the Cascade People Center in the South Lake Union neighborhood, located at 309 Pontius Ave N, Seattle, WA  98109. 

Visit their website at http://ycascadepeoplescenter.org, join a hip-hop or yoga class, get assistance with your taxes, or check out their summer youth adventure trips.

At Seattle Parks and Recreation we value our diverse range of partners, who help guide us toward our mission of creating community through people, parks, and programs. We recognize and appreciate the many partnerships that support our park land, facilities, and programs. Working toghether we have built and continue to sustain one of the best Parks and Recreation programs in the nation.
