Demolition is complete! Orca Pacific, the contractor, started to pour the first sections of the pool walls in late March.

Work is scheduled to be complete by June 30, 2012.

Colman Pool is Seattle’s only outdoor saltwater pool. After opening in 1941, it has seen various improvements over the years.

The last major renovation of the pool was twenty years ago. The current phase of work addresses a variety of much needed repairs on a large scale. This Phase replaces part of the the pool deck, pool gutters, and upper section of the pool shell and will install a new plaster lining to increase the life expectancy of this gem. This is a truly unique asset in our Parks system and is being saved for the next generation of Seattle youth and adults.
