About

Beach Parking Lot closure: there has been a delay in opening the new accessible parking and the concrete ramp, due to the ramp handrail’s galvanizing process. Rail installation is expected Thurs., 8/31 and the area should be open by end of the same day.

At Warren G. Magnuson Park, you'll find more than four miles of walking trails along the shores of Lake Washington, grassy fields, evergreen and deciduous trees and brush, and captivating public art installations. Located along a splendid mile-long stretch of Lake Washington's shoreline in northeast Seattle, it is Seattle's second largest park, encompassing 350 acres.

Magnuson Park boasts many landmarks and historical sites that prominently display Art Deco style architecture. The park's Historic District features more than 20 brick and metal structures built in the 1930s and 1940s, recalling the park's history as a Naval airfield.

Magnuson also has a huge variety of amenities and features such as sports fields, community garden, wetland habitat, trails, boat launch, community center, swimming beach, and more!

Discover a great urban park which includes pieces of Seattle's military past and eco-friendly future!
