The Park offers you ample opportunity to explore a range of natural areas.
There are grasslands, wooded hillsides, wetlands and shoreline within
the park's boundaries.
Look for kiosks throughout the park that describe the types of birds
and animals you are likely find in the nearby habitat.
Community volunteers have actively been restoring habitat areas in
the park for many years. Promontory Point, located in the southwestern
corner of the park, south of the N.E. 65th Street entrance,
is the current focus of the Magnuson Environmental Stewardship Alliance.
Groups wanting to take on volunteer projects within the park's many
habitat areas can contact the Warren G. Magnuson Park office at 206-684-4946.
