ABOUT THE PARK
Welcome to Warren G. Magnuson Park!
This former Navy airfield has transformed into a unique combination of features and activities for you to enjoy: recreation and leisure—boating, tennis, swimming, walks, kite flying, to name a few; sports fields; natural areas; and a historic campus.

Seattle Parks and Recreation is interested in securing a partner to operate a high quality, uninterrupted broadband wireless (802.11x) service providing free internet access for the public within Magnuson and Gasworks Parks.

Magnuson Park is named after Warren Grant "Maggie" Magnuson (April 12, 1905–May 20, 1989) who represented the state of Washington in the United States Senate from 1944 until 1981.
