Linden Orchard Park
Seattle Parks and Recreation is grateful for the ongoing and dedicated support of Friends of Linden Orchard for Linden Orchard Park.
Volunteers in the Seattle parks put in many thousands of hours every year removing invasive plants, planting native plants, and doing other work that helps make our parks safe, attractive, and sustainable. Without them, we could not do what we do. If you'd like to join Friends of Linden Orchard, please contact Prudence Kluckhohn at firstname.lastname@example.org for information about work parties and other events and activities.
Recent activities include: Friends of Linden Orchard Park was formerly the site of an apple orchard. Friends of Linden Orchards raised $100,000 for a $100,000 matching grant through the Pro-Park Levy in 2001. The group contributes 400 hours throughout the year for the upkeep of the park
Linden Orchard was formerly the site of an apple orchard. This beautifully landscaped park includes a large lawn, a P-Patch community garden, new fruit trees, edible landscaping, a neighborhood gathering place with benches and a picnic table, interactive features for children's play, and an extraordinarily charming tool shed.
