Camp Long Nature and Adventure Camps

Carbon Beach Exploration

Camp Long is a 68–acre forested park located in West Seattle and is one of Seattle’s best–kept secrets. Five miles of trails within the park boundaries are enhanced by a southern connection to the Longfellow Creek trail. Visitors can enjoy nature, camp overnight in rustic cabins, rock climb or experience a low and high ropes course.

Camp Long’s Nature Quest Day Camps are a week–long adventure through different areas of West Seattle. Learn about history, outdoor survival, intertidal life, and Pacific Northwest forest ecology through games, hands–on activities, art projects, treasure hunts, and more! See below for descriptions of each week of camp. Please pay attention to where the camp is located each week. Some are at Camp Long and others are at different places throughout West Seattle.

All camps are for 7 to 12 year olds. Each week camp runs 9am – 4pm. Limited scholarships are available.
