Introducing The 4H Challenge Course
at Camp Long

Challenge Course

Challenge CourseSeattle Parks and Recreation is entering the world of challenge courses! We have worked closely with our partner, Washington State University Extension 4H, to get a course built through the WSUE 4–H Adventure Education Programs. A challenge course is a series of activities involving logs, platforms, posts, ropes, and wires attached to trees or other structures used for team building and personal development.

                                            Vertical Play Pen: "Mt. Challenger"
Challenge is ...

A series of mental and physical activities used for the skill development of individuals and groups. Challenge can happen indoors at the Lodge, at your location, or on our state-of-the-art outdoor course.

Challenge Course We offer a variety of programming options that are adaptable to diverse physical abilities. The foundation of Challenge is a group contract focusing on providing a safe environment and individual choice. Challenge programs are custom designed to meet your specific needs and goals.                                       High Challenge Course: "Enchantments"

Low Course: Working with teammates to get over the wall
