FREE Fish-Friendly Car Wash Kit Available at Camp Long and Carkeek Park
Car washes can be terrific fundraisers and a great way to build community. But, did you know that if a car wash is done incorrectly it can hurt local fish and other wildlife? The soapy water, dirt, and phosphates drain into storm drains and ditches that lead straight to creeks and into Puget Sound. You can prevent this harm to wildlife by using the fish-friendly car wash kit. To borrow the Kit for your next community car wash fundraiser or to find out more about it call 206-684-7434 at Camp Long or 206-684-0877 at Carkeek Park.
