ABOUT THE COURTS:
The six unlighted tennis courts in Magnuson Park were constructed in the mid-1970s after the first transfer of lands from Naval Air Station, Seattle.
The Sand Point Tennis Center
In 1999, the Magnuson Park Concept Plan defined the location and size of a tennis facility in the park. As part of the City of Seattle's redevelopment of the Sand Point Historic District, this new facility will include 10 indoor courts. These are projected to be completed in 2012.

LOCATION AND DIRECTIONS:
They are located in the center portion of the park. It is easiest to access the existing courts from NE 74th Street entrance. From NE 74th Street, continue 1/4 mile east to the Junior League of Seattle Playground. From this point walk east on the Cross Park Trail a little over a 1/4 mile.
