Hope for Youth Grant Program - Funding for Scholarships
Seattle Parks and Recreation is happy to announce that $40,000 has been allocated in our 2013 Hope for Youth Grant program for increasing access to recreational and positive social development activities, by providing scholarships to youth and teens residing in the Seattle area.

Seattle Conservation Corps work program for homeless adults
The Seattle Conservation Corps (SCC) is part of Seattle Parks and Recreation. SCC's mission is to utilize private and publicly funded work projects to employ homeless persons in a supportive work environment, offering work experience leading to long term employment, housing, and personal stability.
