This is a key event for businesses to introduce themselves to the region's largest government entities: City of Seattle, King County, Port of Seattle, University of Washington, Sound Transit, Washington State Department of Enterprise Services, Washington State Department of Transportation, Washington State Office of Minority and Women's Business Enterprises, Port of Tacoma, and others.

  • Construction/Architectural Engineering: one-on-one sessions with prime contractors and consultants during pre-scheduled interviews.
  • Exhibit tables: Meet local, state and federal procurement representatives and business resource providers.  
  • Networking: Engage with government contracting representatives and network with contractors, consultants and suppliers all at one event.

Meet your match

Matchmaking allows business representatives to meet with prime contractors and consultants in one-on-one sessions during pre-scheduled interviews. It also allows you to present what you do and why you believe you are the perfect match for a particular service. You should bring business cards, typically a one-page line card marketing material to include your firm's contact information, list of products and or services you provide, and if applicable, current government contracts you currently hold.

How do I register for this event?
Online registration will be open soon. Interested firms, please register as an attendee, separately as space allows, please register for one-on-one meetings with prime contractors/consultants.

What is the cost of the event?
This is a FREE event.  

What is Regional Contracting Forum - Trade show event?
It is an event that allows businesses the opportunity to meet with government entities throughout the Puget Sound Region and participating public agencies at one time and in one location. The agency representatives from procurement and contracts, and agency departments sit at tables while firms drop in during the day, circulate and roam through the exhibition hall, meet with representatives and allow contractors, consultants and suppliers to market their firms' services and products.  

Who is invited?
We invite contractors, consultants and suppliers. Small, women, minority, and veteran-owned businesses are highly encouraged to attend.  

Do I need a table?
No. Firms will not have tables. Firms will drop in, visit each table and circulate among the tables.

What do I bring to this event?
Bring business cards, typically a one-page line card marketing material to include your firm's contact information, list of products and/or services you provide and if applicable, current government contracts you currently hold.

Who will sit at the tables?
Participating government agencies and business resources such as City of Seattle, King County, University of Washington, Port of Seattle, Port of Tacoma, Washington State DOT, Washington State Minority and Women's Business Enterprises, State of Washington Department of Enterprise Services, Sound Transit, along with other contributing partners to include neighboring cities, counties, port authorities and business resources.

How is the trade show set-up?
The agency representatives will be seated at their respective tables and ready to talk with you in the exhibition hall for all day networking. In addition, one-on-one meetings with primes, large vendors, and agency goods and services procurement representatives.

What time does registration open on the day of the event?
Registration opens as early as 7 a.m.

You are the best advocate to market your firm. This is the best venue to start or continue relationship building with public agencies. Your presence and participation is imperative to the success of this event.
