Alki Art Fair       
The Alki Art Fair is a premier summer art showcase that takes place at Alki Beach Park during an entire July weekend. The Fair features juried art vendors, local musicians, cultural food, and a free children's art area round out this family-friendly event on one of Seattle's most scenic beaches.

Campus of Learners Foundation
A Black History Month Celebration and International Women's Day Celebration produced by young people, aged 11 to 17, from a multitude of ethnic, racial, cultural and linguistic groups.  

Central Area Chamber of Commerce
The Juneteenth Celebration and will feature the theme Lessons for the past, inspiration for the future.

CeAtl Tonalli
Mexica New Year Celebration: This cultural heritage celebration at Daybreak Star brings together dancers, drummers and singers from all over the country as well as Mexico.  This celebration creates a vibrant space for community members to participate in workshops, view our photographic art installation and watch an Aztec dance ceremony.

DAIPANbutoh Collective
Seattle International Butoh Festival features on-stage and site-specific performances-including several free offerings-workshops by guest teachers, and more!

Dare to Dance
Dare to Dance is an annual, professional-quality showcase for original dances created and performed by dance enthusiasts of all ages and experience levels. We strive to provide unique opportunities for underrepresented artists who lack access to traditional avenues of involvement.

Desi Dhamaka
Desi Dhamaka is an annual, student-run, South Asian cultural showcase at the University of Washington. It has grown to become a significant annual event of the Pacific Northwest. The mission of the show is to spread the awareness of South Asian culture and its performing arts by providing the platform for UW students to showcase their talent to the UW student body and the great Northwest community.

El Centro de la Raza
Cinco de Mayo is to promote cultural exchange and celebrate Mexican-American history with dance, music, food, and a spirit of solidarity. This event is an opportunity to share Mexican-American culture and art with the larger community and share valuable traditions and cultural knowledge with people of all ages, races, and ethnicity.

Entre Hermanos
South Park Pride is a community celebration that brings a family friendly LGBTQ Pride festivity to the community of South Park, at the Duwamish Waterway Park.

Eritrean Community in Seattle & Vicinity
The Annual Graduation Celebration is an event that honors and recognizes the achievements of Eritreans high school and college graduates as well as their families. The program features an accomplished Eritrean keynote speaker, poets, dance performances, awarding of certificates to the youth, as well as Eritrean cuisine.

Foundation for International Understanding Through Students
CulturalFest is an annual two-day event that celebrates the diverse cultural traditions represented by the University of Washington international community and promotes understanding and friendship between cultures across the Puget Sound. CulturalFest Expo is a free International Culture Expo targeted to families, school groups and neighborhood community groups. Support from the City of Seattle allows us to increase hours to maximize opportunities for field trips from local classrooms.

Juan Franco
festival:festival is a presenting platform focused on Seattle artists and practices that engage with intersectional structures and identities. The mission of the festival is to create vibrant spaces through creative frameworks of empowerment, healing, and intentionality with the goal of building a sustainable and accessible arts community.  

Fremont Abbey (aka: Artwerks)
Community Curated Series Abbey Arts core values include the belief that every person should have the opportunity to experience quality concerts and multi-arts events to help open their minds to creativity, beauty, and empathy. In 2019 the series will support local women, people of color, and parents to help them curate concerts and interactive social arts events featuring performing artists. 

From Hiroshima To Hope
From Hiroshima to Hope commemorates the lives lost in the bombing of Hiroshima, and all lives lost to war and violence. We gather with an ethnically diverse performance including music, dance, art, and speech. We provide 1200 wood and paper lanterns, with calligraphy in Japanese and Punjabi. People decorate their lantern with personal or generic messages and prayers for peace and justice.

Michelle Habell-Pallan
Womxn Who Rock: Making Scenes, Building Communities annual (un)Conference is participant-driven and centered around issues of gender, race, class and sexuality. Activities include skill-sharing workshops, performances, and children's activities.

Indigenouz Placmakerz
Seattle's Coastal & Powwow Celebration Day Celebrating many Native heritages, this one-day festival interweaves together Coast Salish and Powwow teachings, songs, dances, and stories with a Grand Entry, Veterans Honoring, inter-tribal social and exhibition dances, story tellers, demonstration artists and non-profit organizations.

Hiba Jameel
An interactive art event is to raise awareness of the practice of art therapy in coping with mental illness.

Leschi Community Council
Leschi Art Walk is an annual event that showcases 45-50 visual artists and craft-persons. A day-long celebration that incorporates a live music stage and children's activities and art making.

Luck Ngi Musical Club   
Cantonese Opera Concert An annual performance in celebration of the arrival of Chinese New Year. It will be held at the grand hall of the Chong Wa Benevolent Association in Chinatown.

Mahogany Project          
The Urban Poverty Forum (UPF) exists to open a dialogue about the systemic issues surrounding urban poverty and unites diverse communities of concerned citizens by addressing poverty issues in WA - examining ways to create change. TMP traditionally opens the event with a multi-disciplinary art performance which encourages thought and engagement based on the annual topic.  

Makenna Lehrer             
Crush/Repeat is an annual community art show where participants of all ages and experience levels are invited to pick a small art project to repeat in some manner every day for the month of March.  A celebratory public showcase directly following includes performance opportunity, artist talks and a gallery run for visual projects.  Borrowing inspiration from a national project called "Fun-a-day", artists emerge from winter together using art as an act of resistance, resilience and growth.  

Nikkei Heritage Association of Washington        
Kodomo no Hi (Children's Day) is an annual festival hosted and organized by JCCCW around the same time that Children's Day in Japan is traditionally held. It is a free to the public, all-day event celebrating children and fostering multicultural art experiences in children. We offer a wide variety of Japanese cultural performances, workshops, and activities designed to be fun, immersive, and educational for kids.

Parkview Services          
Annual Spring Dance for people with IDDs is a free, public and inclusive event where people of all abilities can have fun together while dancing, working on an art project and socializing.

Phinney Neighborhood Association
Dia de los Muertos Festival includes outdoor dance performance and blessing by the Ce Atl Tonalli Aztec Dancers, neighborhood procession, community altar and performances by preschool students from PNA's Spanish Preschool Co-op, Marco Cortes, and Bailadores de Bronce.  

Amy Piñon         
Womxn in Media is an interactive, resource-sharing event that brings together current and aspiring media makers, centered on young womxn of color, to realize a pathway in media arts and to deepen their sense of creative resistance within their art practice.  

Red Eagle Soaring
Annual Student Performance under the guidance and direction of highly skilled teaching artists and RES alumni, students create an Indigenous-based theatrical production to perform for the greater Seattle area community.  

Refugee Women's Alliance
Community Carnival showcases the creative contributions of refugee and immigrant youth. The Carnival will include original choreography by youth in our social-justice-themed circus arts program and will also feature photography and film created by youth in our job-readiness training program.  

Seattle Balkan Dancers
Balkan Night Northwest is an annual festival showcasing musicians and music from across the Balkans. Balkan Night has ongoing relationships with local Balkan communities and brings out traditional musicians to share their talents with other immigrant communities and locals alike.  The event takes place at St. Demetrios.

Seattle Jewish Film Festival
The Seattle Jewish Film Festival is the largest Jewish event in the Pacific Northwest, and one of the largest and longest-running international film festivals in the region and Jewish film festivals in the US. Central to the Stroum Jewish Community Center's community-building mission, SJFF brings over 7,000 people of all stripes together annually to showcase the vibrancy and diversity Jewish and Israeli life, history, culture, and storytelling through cinema for everyone.  

Seattle Latino Film Festival
Seattle Latino Film Festival brings artistic and culturally relevant Hispanic - American cinema of superior quality to the King County area while also providing a forum for the ideas being explored, many of which are integral to the experience of "Latinidad".  

Seattle Live Aloha Hawaiian Cultural Festival
The Live Aloha Hawaiian Cultural Festival is expanding to Festival to 2 days with Saturday workshops for focused learning opportunities.  The Festival celebrates Hawaiian culture with performances, vendors and food at Seattle Center.  

Seattle Polish Foundation
The Polish Festival A celebration of Polish culture, tradition and contemporary achievements, featuring authentic Polish food, live music and dance performances, historical and regional exhibits, demos and workshops, local merchants, beer garden and children's activities. The event takes place at Seattle Center  

Short Run Seattle
The 9th annual Short Run Comics and Arts Festival a free, all ages festival that focuses on indie comics and self-published, small press, and handmade books of all kinds from the Pacific Northwest and around the world.

South Park Arts
South Park Putts Out On Night Out Against Crime, close off the 800 block of South Thistle St for a night of miniature golf with all the holes designed and built by local artists.

Sundiata African American Cultural Association
Festival Sundiata is a two-day festival at Seattle Center that celebrates and introduces the culture of people of African descent to all that attend.  

Tet in Seattle
TET FEST at Seattle Center will include "The Cultural Village," an immersive cultural experience to educate our guests through educational and cultural activities to learn more about the Vietnamese Culture and history of customs and values as part of celebrating the New Year.

United Indians of All Tribes Foundation
Seafair Indian Days Powwow: A three-day family-friendly, held at Daybreak Star Powwow Grounds during the third weekend in July, is one of the largest Native community events in the Northwest and welcomes thousands of Native and non-Native attendees for traditional dance competitions, drumming, traditional food, exhibition and sale of Native art and crafts, and honorings and speeches.

Vietnamese Seniors Group
Tet (Lunar New Year) and Mid-Autumn Festival (Chinese Moon Festival) shares the joy of these festivals with the diverse neighbors in Rainier Vista and invite them to a wonderful celebration showcasing the cultural roots of Vietnamese heritage by promoting arts, music, performances and foods unique to Vietnam.

Kimberly Walker
CBE Fashion Experience creates a platform for local and national indie designers to express themselves by showcasing wearable art for bodies that are often shamed. Body-positivity and diversity are celebrated in this event where the objective is to show the world that all bodies, particularly those with curves, are beautiful no matter the shade or size of body. The event takes place at Seattle Center.

Larry C Wisdom
The Denny Arts project is a collaboration between a diverse group of low-income seniors and disabled, coming together as a community, culminating in an art show as part of the Capitol Hill Art Walk.

Balkan Night Northwest is an annual festival showcasing Pacific Northwest Balkan musicians organized by an all-volunteer committee at St. Demetrios Church.  

BEGO
BEGO 3rd Annual Ethiopian Block Street Festival features Ethiopian performers, booths, and table displays in Central Area.  

Leschi Community Council
Leschi Art Walk is an annual event that showcases 45-50 visual artists and craft-persons. A day-long celebration that incorporates a live music stage and children's activities and art making. New this year will be a participatory dance class for children and an outdoor movie shown in Leschi Park.

Cultura Viva/ CeAtl Tonalli           
Mexica New Year Celebration is a two-day event at Daybreak Star that brings communities together to celebrate, preserve and promote indigenous culture here in the Northwest. The event consists of a traditional altar, an exhibition of murals, a photo exhibit, traditional Aztec ceremonies and dances. Ending in a feast for the whole community.      

DAIPANbutoh Collective
DAIPANbutoh Collective presents its ninth annual Seattle International Butoh Festival.  This year's international guest artist is Mushimaru Fujieda of Japan, while other featured guests include Seattle artist Crow Nishimura (of Degenerate Art Ensemble) and Mizu Desierto of Portland.

WordsWest Literary Series meets every third Wednesday of the month to host literary events that range from readings by published local and national authors, to craft discussions and guided writing explorations for every experience level. WordsWest also features West Seattle's Favorite Poem Project, wherein people from local, independent businesses or organizations join each event by reciting a favorite poem and sharing reasons why it is a favorite.

Youth are provided a safe space to engage in positive life choices while expressing themselves.

The 25th Annual Rainier Valley Heritage Parade and Festival will continue to celebrate the diversity Southeast Seattle with summertime fun right on Rainier Ave! For one day, SE Seattle residents have a day of play to honor who we are through art, entertainment, play, food, games, music, poetry, and family fun.

Parkview Services Spring Dance
An annual spring dance for the Intellectually and Developmentally Disabled (IDD)Community. This event has been going on for about a decade and is amazingly well-attended and beloved by attendees, volunteers, and staff.

10th Annual Seattle Live Aloha Hawaiian Cultural Festival
The Live Aloha Hawaiian Cultural Festival at Seattle Center is comprised of performances, workshops, and history exhibits. This year we are celebrating our 10th Anniversary which will present the Rough Riders comprised of individually accomplished recording artists John Cruz, Henry Kapono, and Brother Noland.

SeattleSings! 2017 A Choral Festival of the Greater Seattle Choral Consortium
A Festival presenting 35 of the GSCC Member Community Choirs from around the greater Seattle area. Each ensemble performs the choral music of its choice, showcasing its unique, diverse repertoire specialty, including the work of local choral composers.

A two-weekend festival packed with 25-30 producing groups, in six venues, (eight total days of shows.) The festival supports the work of Western Washington artists in a variety of genres in venues in Capitol Hill and Queen Anne neighborhoods.

BrasilFest 2017
A festival at Seattle Center celebrating the diverse culture of Brasil through music, dance and food.

STORY SLAM CONTEST
Promotes reading, writing, and public speaking for youth. Young writers and artists are invited to participate, must be original work, and must recite within five minutes.

Arts in Nature Festival
A celebration of art, nature, and community featuring the eclectic, multidisciplinary experience of art and performance takes place in the woods of Camp Long. Nature is explored through dance, theatre, music, visual arts, wandering performances, restoration activities, and the Museum of Sound, an installation art exhibition.

World Rhythm Festival 2017
The 24th annual festival offers over 100 music and dance workshops and performances, and gives participants the chance to hear, dance to, and play rhythmic music from around the world. In addition to a full roster of performances and workshops, the festival includes special programming for youth, a Friday night celebration performance, and an international marketplace.

Seattle Iranian Festival
