Your organization is welcome to hold a meeting or special event in Warren G. Magnuson Park’s Sand Point Historic District.

Warren G. Magnuson Park has a variety of special event venues that will fit your needs. Historic Building 30 is home to both the newly renovated Hangar and the Officers Club.

The Hangar is a former aircraft hangar that offers approximately 20,000 square feet of open space. This unique venue space is a blank slate waiting to be transformed into your creative vision. It hosts weddings, special events, book and art sales, roller derbies, and remote control car and airplane events. Capacity is 1300, theater style. Weather permitting, large garage doors can open at both the north and south ends of the building to expand the capacity.

The Officers Club at Magnuson Park was previously the military Officers Club and was refurbished in 2013. This intimate and historic space offers a main hall with a gas fireplace, a fabulous art-deco style bar and a caterers kitchen with a refrigerator, icemaker and warming ovens. The space holds up to 142 depending on room layout. It is housed among 35 artist studios.

Once an actual brig military jail, Building 406 is an informal space similar to a community center. It has several rooms available for informal events, meetings and classes. The Brig is a great place for birthday parties, art classes, meetings and other activities. Rooms range in size from 25-140 person capacity depending on layout.

Many groups combine both indoor and outdoor spaces for special events. Magnuson Park has over 350 acres that include 12 sports fields, a dog off-leash park, swim beach, boat launch, wetlands and miles of pathways.
