Phone: 206 684-7434 E-mail: email@example.com
Schurman Rock and Glacier Slab
Currently, Schurman Rock is open and available for individual climbing during our regular business hours, Tuesday – Saturday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. when not reserved by a group. Please check in at the front desk to let us know you are planning to climb.
Private rentals are available weekdays of operation before 4 p.m. and for two hours maximum on Saturdays and Sundays, unless other arrangements have been made. There is an additional after-hours staffing fee for summer evenings after the park closes, from 6 to 9 p.m. Generally speaking, the maximum number of people using the rock or glacier simultaneously is 12 to 15. Parks can accommodate larger groups who make arrangements ahead of time. To make reservations and special arrangements, please call 206-684-7434.
For more information please download the Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions.
School and group climbing program instruction are available. We have thorough, safety conscious programs for the rock led by climbing specialists who enable all groups (Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, people with disabilities, school groups, youth groups, at-risk teens, and family groups) to use this wonderfully restored structure. If your group wants to schedule a class, please call 206-399-2205.

ABOUT CAMP LONG
POLICIES & PLANNING
Hello! All of us at Camp Long are so excited that Schurman Rock has been skillfully restored and is now opened.
We really want to thank the Seattle Parks Foundation for raising the funds and organizing the project to make the rock usable and safe. We also want to thank the Seattle Parks Foundation for donating brand new gear from REI for our future instruction programs on the rock.
Thanks also to all of the other donors who funded the project including REI, Seattle and Everett Mountaineers, Mountain Madness and many private donors.
