Domestic Worker Rights Anniversary


The City of Seattle Office of Labor Standards and the Domestic Workers Standards Board are hosting a celebration to recognize five years of Seattle's Domestic Workers Ordinance which gives domestic workers protections including the right to be paid the minimum wage and receive meal and rest breaks.

The celebration will be on Monday July 1st from 5pm-8pm at Pratt Park (201 20th Ave S, Seattle, WA 98144).

Children and families are welcome! There will be activities and refreshments provided.

Pratt Park has a new playground, a spray park, and public restrooms. It is directly on the 27 and 14 bus lines and a few blocks away from stops on the 4, 8, and 48 bus lines. There is street parking available nearby.

Spanish interpretation will be provided.
