The City of Seattle is committed being a Welcoming City and serves all residents regardless of immigration status. OLS staff will never ask about someone’s immigration status. We ask that you do not share someone’s specific immigration status information with us or during meetings. As a public agency, the Office of Labor Standards is legally required to disclose most written information that is created by us or given to us. If someone’s specific immigration status information is shared with us verbally, neither OLS staff nor commissioners will write this information down. If you have any questions about OLS’s commitments or legal obligations, please talk to the commission liaison.
