Fire Station 31
Review Status
On January 20, 2022 we reviewed the schematic design phase (30% design) for the Fire Station 31 project. At this meeting, we voted to approve the schematic design with one condition and several recommendations. On July 21, 2022 we will review the design development (90%) phase.
Project Description
The City's Office of Finance and Administrative Services (FAS), on behalf of Seattle Fire Department, have proposed the replacement of the existing Fire Station (FS) 31, located at 1319 N Northgate Way. The existing facility will be located at 11300 N Meridian Way, approximately ¼ mile from the existing facility. The proposed facility is intended to improve response times for FS 31 and its service area. The new FS 31 will be approximately 21,000 SF and will accommodate one engine company, a ladder unit, a medic unit and one aid car for a total of thirteen active-duty personnel per shift.
