Duwamish Street End Sites

Project Update

Two Duwamish Shoreline Street End projects - S River St and SW Michigan St - are moving forward and are anticipated to be completed by the end of this year.

We are planning to make improvements at the following three Shoreline Street End sites along the Duwamish in the South Park and Georgetown neighborhoods:

  • S River St: at the intersection of 1st Ave S and S River St
  • SW Michigan St: near the intersection of 1st Ave S and SW Michigan St

Improvements at these sites will vary, but include removing invasive species and planting new vegetation, and adding public seating areas, such as picnic tables and benches. Please see the individual site plans for to see the specific proposed improvements for each site.
