Pike People Street Permits

Through the Pike People Street program, we help the community create fun, relaxing, and safe spaces for pedestrians to explore events and socialize during times of high-pedestrian traffic on and around Pike Street in Capitol Hill. Learn more about the Pike People Street program.

Pike People Street Permit Types

Thank you for your interest in getting involved with the Pike People Street program! There are two ways that you can participate: by hosting an outdoor café (if you are business owner within the People Street footprint), or by hosting an activity or event (this option is open to everyone!). We are not currently accepting applications, but you may check this page for future updates. In the meantime, please feel free to contact the Pike People Street program coordinator, Seth Geiser, at 206-615-1035 or seth.geiser@seattle.gov.
