Applying for an RPZ permit by mail? 

Check that your address is in an RPZ before downloading an application below. You will need to know which Zone and Area you are applying for. Please be aware that it takes us longer to process paper applications.

You will need to include the necessary documentation with your completed application, and a check or money order made out to the City of Seattle. For more instructions, read the “How to Apply” section on the main RPZ Permits Program page.

60-day short term permits can be issued if you are waiting to update your vehicle registration to your eligible address. We will only issue two consecutive 60-day permits. 

1-day short term permits are available for all Zones except Zones A and B. You may use up to five per day, and up to a total of 50 per year, per address.

60-day permits cost $25 for each 60-day period. 1-day permits are $1 each.
