Soundview Terrace Play Area Renovation

Updated: December 2, 2021

Winter 2021/2022

The project at Soundview Terrace play area is encountering a challenge to get a contractor on board due to contracting method and high installation cost. Seattle Parks and Recreation has purchased the new play area equipment. We are working through a different pathway forward to get the equipment installed.

Due to ongoing construction delay, we will replenish the surfacing in the play area and re-open the play area in early December. The play area will remain open for a couple months until we have a contractor on board and ready to mobilize. Please check back with us for further updates.

It is our sincere apology for the delay and inconvenience in the past few months. Thank you in advance for your patience as we work to renovate Soundview Terrace Play Area.
