Fairmount Playground Play Area Renovation

Updated: December 21, 2021

Winter 2021/2022

Seattle Parks and Recreation crews removed the old play structure in July 2021 and the new play equipment was installed in October. In December, the contractor installed formwork for new accessible concrete ramps. The ramps will be installed after the concrete labor strike is resolved and material is available. In January, new drainage pipes and surfacing material will be installed. The play area will open by early February.
