Neighborhood Park and Street Fund

The Neighborhood Park and Street Fund provided funds annually to neighborhoods for small-scale improvements to streets and parks. Each Neighborhood District Council reviewed proposed applications and selected three projects to forward to Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) and Seattle Parks and Recreation (Parks) for detailed feasibility and cost analysis. Funding decisions were based on recommendations from District Councils, Parks, and SDOT, with the final decisions made by the Mayor.

In 2017, this program was folded into the City of Seattle's Participatory Budgeting process.
