Office of Labor Standards announces $1.5 million Outreach and Education Fund - News Releases

The City of Seattle Office of Labor Standards (OLS) announces a Request for Proposals (RFP) to establish partnerships that facilitate community outreach and education about Seattle's labor standards, individualized services to workers in Seattle, and strategic approaches to enforcement, with an emphasis on low-income and historically disenfranchised communities, including people of color, immigrants and refugees, as well as women, veterans, people with disabilities, and the LGBTQ community.

November 15th workshop for potential applicants

A workshop for potential applicants is scheduled for Tuesday, November 15, 9 am to 12 noon at Rainier Beach Community Center on 8825 Rainier Ave South Seattle, WA 98118. The workshop will include training on labor standards, guidelines on the goals of the grant and group sessions to encourage partnerships and joint proposals.
