Select Committee on Seattle Transportation Benefit District Funding

The purpose of the 2020 Select Committee on Seattle Transportation Benefit District Funding is to consider a potential ballot measure dedicated to funding the provision of transit-related services, programs and investments. The Select Committee will be responsible for reviewing and revising legislation related to this purpose, and it may make a recommendation to the City Council on whether to advance a ballot measure to put before Seattle’s voters.

Legislation related to this purpose is expected to be transmitted by the Mayor to the City Council on Tuesday, July 7, 2020. In order for this measure to be placed on the General Election ballot on November 3, 2020, the Council must pass and the Mayor must sign legislation by August 4, 2020.
