Kids Corner

SDOT’s drive less efforts include programs for children.

Shrinking Bigfoot

The biggest impact you can make on global warming is by cutting car trips.

Way to Go Fortune Teller

Download a classic childhood fortune teller to predict your future! (Simple assembly directions included.)

Walking School Bus

Kids enjoy walking to school, and starting the school day with exercise is the way to go. Start a “school pool,” also known as a walking school bus, to get your kids to school.

For more information contact Brian Dougherty of SDOT (206-684-5124) or Jen Cole, Safe Routes to School Director at Feet First (206-652-2310.)

Bicycle Programs for Kids and Teens

The Cascade Bike Club offers programs such as kids bike events and urban riders classes for teens.
